Elterngespräche erfolgreich führen

Elterngespräche gehören zum Arbeitsalltag von Pädagoginnen/Pädagogen. Sie sind u. a. notwendig und nützlich, weil durch sie Schulprobleme von Schülerinnen und Schülern geklärt werden können bzw. müssen. Ein guter kooperativer Kontakt zu Eltern kann Spannungen abbauen und den Umgang mit Schülerinnen/Schülern erleichtern. Dennoch stellen sie für viele Pädagoginnen/Pädagogen eine erhebliche Belastung dar.
Umso wichtiger ist es, dass Pädagoginnen/Pädagogen Kompetenzen erwerben, die sie befähigen, Elterngespräche konstruktiv und lösungsorientiert zu führen.

Conducting parent meetings successfully

Conversations with parents are part of the everyday work of teachers. Among other things, they are necessary and useful because they can or must be used to clarify pupils‘ problems at school. Good cooperative contact with parents can reduce tensions and make it easier to deal with pupils. Nevertheless, they represent a considerable burden for many teachers.
This makes it all the more important for teachers to acquire skills that enable them to hold constructive and solution-oriented discussions with parents.
